I'm sure it's no surprise that this sleep loving, wine drinking mama loathes to "Spring Forward." I will be in my current zombie state for at least a week. Baby Girl is on track to do the same. She inherited my sleeping talents.
You may want to sit down for this one. I worked on my closet the entire day of Saturday. I'm about halfway finished at this point. I'm donating 4 large trash bags full of clothes so far. I'm a true clothes hoarder. I understand why the people on "Hoarding: Buried Alive" can't part with their crap. I was having arguments with myself about getting rid of clothes I haven't worn in 5 years. I may need professional help, or at the very least join a support group.
I didn't take "before pictures" of the entire closet, but I took some of a few areas that I plan to glamify. I can't wait to see the finished project. It may take a few weeks because we're leaving town on Friday and I need to start focusing on packing for the trip. I have Rome on the brain!
Speaking of Rome, does anyone have any last minute packing advice? The weather looks dreary with highs in the mid 50's and rain. I'm waiting for my raincoat and walking shoes to be delivered. I'm going to be up the creek without a paddle if they don't get here in time!
I need a crossbody bag because I don't think my giant pocket books are going to work over there. I wonder if they have Gucci at TJ Maxx?!
p.s. Why do I drink Baby Mama Juice? Because I'm currently trying to help the termite inspection man figure out how to use a screw driver. His appointment was at 3:30. I made the appointment at that time so that he wouldn't wake Baby Girl up and so that I could have my "break/rest time" while she napped. He showed up at 1 and rang the doorbell (blatantly ignoring the please knock sign on the door and his appt time). Ugh. It's rude to be late but it's also rude to be 2.5 hrs early. I chose my time for a reason fool!
