With that being said, I've trimmed the tree, hung the stockings with care, and fought my way through the fake snow. I still have the outdoor decorations left (the hardest and most time consuming), but since all my neighbors have me beat, I'm sure I'll have them up in the next few days.
I have to give credit to Mr. BMJ. He helped me put the ornaments on the tree while watching one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies. We'll talk more about that later. I decided give the most expensive Charlie Brown Christmas tree another chance. I ordered the tree the first year we were in our house from Frontgate. I was so thrilled and ordered it especially for a particular spot so I could showcase it in all it's glory. When we got it assembled and put it in place, I cried. Needless to say, it's not exactly what I thought I was ordering. It is convenient, though. You unzip the bag, put the top on, plug it in, and voila!
I have to watch the following Christmas movies every year. I've been watching them for most of my adult life. They may or may not make me cry every time. We watched "Love Actually" last night while decorating. The soundtrack is amazing too!
